Job Description
Head Chef Opportunity – High‑Volume Daytime Concept, Ireland. Senior Leadership Role – Structured Hours. Start date: immediately. Location: Co. Leitrim. Salary: €50,000 – €55,000 per year. Working hours: 40 hours per week (structured schedule, no late nights, closing approx. 7 pm). Contract type: Full‑time (Permanent). Staff accommodation available.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full kitchen brigade and daily operations.
Deliver consistent, high‑quality food across all service periods.
Maintain strong organisation within a high‑volume kitchen.
Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
Ensure HACCP compliance and food safety standards.
Contribute to menu development using seasonal ingredients.
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff.
Work closely with front‑of‑house for smooth service.
Maintain labour efficiency within a structured 40‑hour week.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
Experience in high‑volume kitchens (brunch/lunch/all‑day dining preferred).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to implement systems and maintain consistency.
Passion for quality ingredients and well‑executed food.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Good working level of English required.
