Seeking a Clinical Psychologist to deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans, offer consultation, clinical supervision, and support to team members and trainee psychologists.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality psychological assessments and therapies to meet the complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs of children and young people.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
* Provide training, clinical supervision, and support to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members and junior psychologists.
* Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Stay current with best practices in child and adolescent psychology, including research and innovative therapeutic approaches.
* Develop and deliver psychoeducational programs for families and professionals to promote mental health awareness and well-being.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology, validated by the Department of Health in Ireland.
* Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
* Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
* Strong assessment and therapeutic skills across various clinical presentations.
* Experience supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
* Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
* Training in specific therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, or systemic therapy.
