We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our dynamic residential construction team in Cork.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations of residential developments, ensuring quality, health & safety compliance, and timely delivery in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all site engineering including Setting out activities on site.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
Implement and monitor site health & safety regulations and procedures.
Interpret and review technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Carry out site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design and regulations.
Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
Liaise with design engineers to resolve technical issues on site.
Assist with setting out and surveying tasks as needed.
Support site logistics and resource planning to optimize efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline (Level 7).
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Site Engineer, preferably in residential or mixed-use developments.
Familiarity with Irish building regulations, standards, and Health & Safety legislation.
Proficient with CAD/BIM software and MS Office applications.
Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Aconex).
Previous exposure to residential sites.
Company vehicle or mileage allowance.
