We are Recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our clients, a leading food manufacturing company based in County Kerry.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant operation of the production facility.
You will oversee daily manufacturing activities, manage cross-functional teams, and drive operational improvements that support productivity, quality, and food safety standards.
Working closely with senior leadership, You will contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance operational performance and support the companys continued growth.
This is a permanent position based on site in County Kerry Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality targets are achieved.
Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to maximise performance and engagement.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Monitor operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage staffing, materials, and equipment to meet production schedules.
Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to optimise operations.
Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency across the facility.
Prepare operational reports and communicate performance to senior management.
Requirements Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, food science, operations management, or related discipline.
Proven experience in an operations or production management role within food manufacturing.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Solid understanding of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
