Staff Nurse - Radiation Oncology
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Staff Nurse in Radiation Oncology. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure seamless service delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**

* Clinical Assessment and Planning:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual elements of care, utilizing evidence-based best practices in Cancer care.

* Direct Patient Care:
• Provide specialist nursing services for patients with a diagnosis of Cancer who require support and treatment throughout their care continuum.
">
* Indirect Patient Care:
• Identify and agree on appropriate referral pathways for patients with Cancer.
">
* Audit and Research:
• Participate in nursing research on various aspects of cancer care and contribute to clinical audit activities within the field.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

* Registered Nurse/Midwife on the active Register of Nurses/Midwives held by Bord Altranais.

* Oncology qualification from an accredited institution or willingness to undertake the course and/or in-house training.

* Experience in Cancer care, with ability to practice safely and effectively.

* Demonstrated effective communication, organisation, time management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
