Insurance Underwriter Opportunity
The Business Lines New Business Team is responsible for meeting the insurance needs of customers through broker channels.
Main Responsibilities:
* Underwrite and analyze new business submissions in accordance with established standards, Zurich risk appetite, and delegated authority levels.
* Negotiate terms and conditions with broker partners aligned with agreed strategy and target risk appetite while fostering strong broker relationships.
* Manage and prioritize new business pipeline and work queues to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years' industry experience
* Relevant professional certifications (CIP, MDI, ACII)
* Excellent technical insurance knowledge, numerical, and analytical skills
