Coastal Chef
The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency, and we're seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at a high-volume seafood restaurant in County Clare.
Job Description:
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
* Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
* Develop and execute seasonal menus that showcase fresh local seafood.
* Maintain all health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and EHO requirements.
* Manage food cost, portion control, and stock rotation.
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality and consistency of ingredients.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Drive a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and excellence in the kitchen.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-driven kitchen.
* Strong background in seafood preparation and Irish/European cuisine.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Deep understanding of kitchen financials, food safety, and team management.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Prioritise creativity in sourcing and showcasing local, seasonal ingredients.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods.
