Postdoctoral Researcher Opportunity
This is a full-time position available for 14 months in the Siggins Lab at the University of Galway, Ireland.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group focusing on Environmental Biotechnology and Microbiology. They will work within the URF project team investigating the role of biochar in aerobic methane oxidation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop microscopy approaches for imaging microbial cells to advance understanding of methanotrophic community structure and function in biotechnologically important biofilms

* A postgraduate qualification or higher in microbiology or related field with expertise in advanced microscopy techniques

Salary Details:
$46,305 - $59,063 per annum (subject to funding limitations), pro rata for shorter contracts. -----------------------------------
