Safety and Compliance Professional Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will support the quality improvement, compliance, and safety agenda within a healthcare setting.
The role involves close collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and implement regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mental Health Act Administration: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, support tribunal coordination, and provide staff guidance.
* Quality & Compliance: Maintain policy control systems, support audits and inspections, and manage staff policy acknowledgments to ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory standards.
* Risk & Incident Management: Oversee incident reporting, support risk register maintenance, and facilitate mandatory reporting.
* Administrative Assistance: Provide administrative support to the Head of Quality, Risk, Compliance & Patient Administration in relation to feedback management.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a healthcare or clinical setting in a similar administrative role.
* Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2001, regulatory standards, and incident management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare IT systems.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in a mental health environment.
* Relevant third-level qualification.
* Skills in staff training, report writing, and compliance project implementation.
