We are seeking an experienced Activities Assistant for Montenotte Nursing Home. We aim to deliver the highest standards of care and a luxurious, high-end service, offering engaging activities that ensure residents feel comfortable and valued.
Job Summary
The Activities Assistant will report to the Training & Activities Coordinator and will:
* Plan and deliver activities tailored to residents' needs
* Support nursing staff in providing holistic care
* Manage the activity calendar proactively
* Execute activity plans efficiently
* Offer a variety of group and individual activities to cater for all needs
* Collaborate with residents, staff, and families in activity planning
* Report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
* Assist residents with activities, employing manual handling best practices and following nursing instructions
* Maintain health and safety standards
* Build effective communication and relationships with staff, residents, and families
