Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for an ICT Problem Analyst to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with likely extensions thereafter. Location is Northeast of Ireland (Ardee, Kells, Drogheda), Onsite initially with Hybrid working a possibility after full training. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €30.47 per hour based on an annualised salary of €55,644. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. The ideal candidate must have experience of Problem Management or Incident Management in an ICT environment, experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams and experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders Role & Responsibilities Manage and operate process activities on a day to day basis, including managing meetings, liaising with stakeholders, and information updates. Work with the National Service Desk and the National IT Incident Team to identify problems and to ensure that they are managed towards resolution. Manage direct reports and provide leadership for all stakeholders attached to and associated with the National Problem Management Department. The post holder will also have key working relationships with other areas (e.g. Delivery Directors, Infrastructure and Technology, etc.), business interfaces (e.g. user representatives) and external 3rd parties (e.g. suppliers). Agree and document acceptable quality control measurements with all relevant parties. Chart and map problem management service performance over time and develop observations and conclusions to deliver improvement. Identify potential service improvement opportunities. Work collaboratively with client teams and other stakeholders to deliver Continual Service Improvement. Skills & Experience: Must have Experience of Problem Management or Incident Management in an ICT environment. Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams in complex environments. Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Business Competencies: The ability to present information clearly, concisely and confidently when speaking and in writing. The ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders to assist in performing the role. Strong planning and organising skills including, structuring and organising own workload and that of others effectively. Good ICT, presentation and report writing skills. The ability to use computer technology effectively for the management and delivery of results. The ability to take responsibility and be accountable for the delivery of agreed objectives. A logical and pragmatic approach to workload, delivering the best possible results with the resources available. The ability to gather and analyse information from relevant sources, weighing up a range of critical factors to develop solutions and make decisions as appropriate Initiative in the resolution of complex issues A capacity to develop new proposals and put forward solutions to address problems. The ability to work with the team to facilitate high performance, developing clear and realistic objectives. Flexibility and willingness to adapt, positively contributing to the implementation of change. Evidence of incorporating the needs of the service user into service delivery. Evidence of proactively identifying areas for improvement and the development of practical solutions for their implementation. Commitment to developing own knowledge and expertise. Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision making skills. Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility.
