Service Line: DDC
Our Deloitte Delivery Centre (DDC) in Cork plays a vital role in our Irish Audit & Assurance business. The centre offers a range of centralized support services to Deloitte's auditors and is set to grow considerably in the next few years.
About the role
The IM CoE will support engagement teams with the completion of both audit administration and analytical work. Support provided by the IM CoE aims to reduce the burden on practitioners throughout the audit lifecycle. The IM CoE supports more efficient working practices while ensuring quality standards are maintained and improved.
The core objective of this work is to ensure that our services are delivered in the most appropriate way, by the right people, in the suitable location, leveraging modern communication and remote team working techniques. Our IM CoE will support our goal to differentiate ourselves from competitors and ensure Deloitte continues to deliver a high-quality, distinctive client experience.
Team members will have the opportunity to become specialists in the services offered by the IM CoE, develop best practices, and play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients. Our established training programs will provide opportunities to develop both technical and soft skills.
Responsibilities
* Supporting teams and managers in ongoing and ad hoc project support
* Preparation of custody reconciliation using external administrator reports
* Preparation of valuation reconciliation using Bloomberg and other pricing service providers
* Analyzing NAV valuations using internal systems
* Assisting with audit-specific administrative tasks
* Liaising with fund administrators to ensure timely completion of audit processes
About you
To qualify for the role, you must have:
* Entry-level experience in an investment management role
* Knowledge of the Irish Funds Industry
* Experience with valuation service providers
* Experience in NAV calculation
