Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook grilled menu items to company standards.
* Operate and maintain grill equipment safely and efficiently.
* Monitor food quality and presentation.
* Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist in menu development and specials involving grilled items.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station.
* Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
* Manage inventory and stock levels for grill-related items.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Grill Chef or similar role.
* Knowledge of grilling techniques (e.g., charbroiling, smoking, searing).
* Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and safety standards.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and presentation.
* Food hygiene certification (preferred).
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
Desirable Qualities
* Passion for food and culinary innovation.
* Ability to train junior staff.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* HACCP Trained.
* Experience with different cuisines and grill styles (e.g., BBQ, Mediterranean, steakhouse).
