We are a busy and well-established Chinese takeaway specializing in authentic traditional Chinese cuisine. To meet growing customer demand, we are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie with strong skills in Chinese cooking techniques, wok operation, and takeaway kitchen efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present Chinese dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
Specialize in wok, stir-fry, and traditional Chinese takeaway dishes.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
Support Head Chef and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with stock control, food preparation, and waste reduction.
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years' experience working in a Chinese restaurant or takeaway kitchen.
Skilled in wok cooking, stir-fry, and preparation of sauces and ingredients.
Strong knowledge of authentic Chinese flavors and cooking methods.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent quality.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
