The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer with strong experience across systems support, integrations, infrastructure troubleshooting, and operational IT delivery. This is a broad technical role supporting both day-to-day operations and ongoing platform initiatives across multiple business systems and third-party technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors while supporting integrations, automation workflows, reporting processes, and business-critical platforms. The role would suit someone comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment with a mix of operational support and project delivery responsibilities.
Onsite full time during probation – reduced to 4 days a week after probation
Key Responsibilities
Support and troubleshoot business-critical systems, integrations, and operational platforms
Investigate issues across Microsoft 365, identity management, email routing, APIs, and third-party systems
Maintain and enhance internally developed integrations using PHP, MySQL, and Linux-based workflows
Monitor automation processes, scheduled jobs, and data flows between systems
Coordinate with external technology vendors and managed service providers to resolve technical issues
Support platform and digital transformation initiatives across eCommerce, reporting, automation, and operational systems
Assist with onboarding workflows, supplier integrations, and structured data management
Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting records, and system process maps
Provide operational continuity and technical oversight when required
Skills & Experience Required
5+ years’ experience in systems support, infrastructure, or integration-focused IT roles
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple technologies and environments
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments and business-critical platforms
Hands‑on experience with PHP, MySQL, Linux/Ubuntu environments, and automation workflows
Exposure to REST APIs, JSON/XML data exchange, and system integrations
Understanding of DNS, email routing, authentication, and identity-related technologies
Experience coordinating third-party vendors and managing technical escalations
Familiarity with ERP or finance-related systems would be beneficial
Comfortable working independently with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
