Overview of Role
The Project Manager will work on a Finance Automation programme, driving automation value streams, prototyping solutions, and delivering impactful business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing change transformation initiatives with a structured delivery approach aligned to business goals. This hybrid role requires presence onsite at least three days a week, with flexibility for additional onsite work as project needs arise.
Key Deliverables
* Coordinate the planning and implementation of the Finance Automation programme, ensuring governance, structure, and reporting are in place to drive delivery.
* Own the development of programme plans, timelines, and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
* Support Finance and business leads in identifying automation opportunities, ensuring scope, priorities, and decision pathways are agreed and documented.
* Track progress across key activities including rapid prototyping, testing, and deployment of automation solutions.
Qualification/s
* Primary degree preferably in a related discipline
* Formal project management certification
Key Experience
* Minimum 7 years' experience in project management.
* Proven experience in Finance automation, finance transformation, or workforce transformation projects.
* Strong understanding of finance processes and the potential for automation to deliver efficiency and compliance benefits.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership or Boards.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights.
* Experience in process optimisation, value stream identification, and prototyping solutions.
