Execution Services Senior Business Analyst
Fidelity Digital Assets℠ (FDA) is dedicated to building products and services that help customers adopt digital assets and innovate within the increasingly digital world of finance. The Execution Services team is a blended Front/Middle office Trade Support group. The team is responsible for order flow management, identifying and resolving trade breaks, identifying and escalating trade discrepancies, resolving trading and counterparty-related disputes, and providing key external client support. The Business Analysis team sits within the Execution Services team and is responsible for representing the business needs of the group for both top-down strategic initiatives and bottom-up tactical work.
To be effective, you will become a subject matter expert on all electronic trading workflows within FDA. You will work closely with Product Strategy, Product Delivery, Engineering, Relationship Managers, Custody and Client Service teams to ensure understanding of client trading and operational needs to drive valuable change. With your knowledge and commitment, you will become a collaborative and resourceful member of the FDA team, sharing best practices and ensuring successful results.
Expertise we’re looking for:
* 4+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in Equity or FX trading or operations
* In-depth knowledge of front to back trade lifecycle
* Knowledge of trading technologies specifically API/FIX connectivity & other electronic trading frameworks
* Experience in supporting product testing in UAT & Production environments, defect analysis and root cause analysis
* Ability to assess value, develop requirements, and prioritize features intended to increase the efficiency & automation of electronic trading workflows & day-to-day operations.
* Solid Project Management skills
* Understanding and demonstration of quantitative & analytical skills necessary to make data-driven decisions
* Strong familiarity with MS Office suite, advanced Excel, strong PowerPoint.
* Familiarity or experience with agile principles
* Cryptocurrency knowledge an advantage but not required
