### Job Description:
As an Independent Board Member, you will play a key role in ensuring that our organization operates effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for providing independent judgement, constructive challenge and external perspective to support the board in meeting its statutory, fiduciary and regulatory responsibilities.
You will work closely with the Chair to ensure that the board operates with integrity and provides effective leadership to our organization.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate governance, risk, accountability and assurance. They will also have strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
The ability to think strategically and bring new ideas to the table is essential for this role. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their commitment to good governance practices and make valuable contributions to our decision-making process.
