Description
We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our growing team in West Cork, managing end-to-end payroll processes for a broad range of clients in our Cork hub. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a desire to develop their career in payroll within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy and collaboration.
2. Manage employee information, tax data, and documentation, maintaining compliance with payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
3. Oversee employee benefits, including pensions, health insurance, and other deductions.
4. Address and resolve client inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits, providing excellent service.
5. Stay updated on payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements to ensure compliance.
6. Maintain accurate records and a robust document control system, ensuring a complete audit trail.
7. Prepare month-end journals and reports for posting and audit purposes.
8. Collaborate with clients to implement payroll solutions and software, such as Sage 50, ensuring seamless processing.
Key Requirements
1. Fully qualified AAT or 'Qualified by Experience.'
2. Payroll/Accounts technician qualification is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
3. Working knowledge of payroll software, with familiarity in BrightPay being beneficial.
4. Understanding of Revenue legislation.
