We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist / Payroll Lead to manage our end-to-end payroll function. This role involves technical payroll expertise, problem-solving, reporting, and collaboration across finance and HR.
* Manage and oversee the Irish payroll process ensuring timely and accurate payments for all employees.
* Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation, pensions, union agreements, Revenue requirements, and internal policies.
* Reconcile payroll accounts and liaise with Finance on journals, audits, and reporting.
* Process bonuses, commissions, benefit deductions, and variable pay elements.
* Manage year-end activities including statutory returns and reconciliations.
* Work closely with HR to ensure employee data is accurate and up-to-date within payroll systems.
* Verify employee hours on the job-costing platform and address discrepancies.
* Support international and shadow payrolls, applying local country rules where required.
* Assist with integrating new payroll systems or onboarding additional jurisdictions.
