Internal Sales Support
Location: North Dublin
Salary: €38, – €45, (dependent on experience)
Overview.
Our client is a well-established supplier of construction materials and related products have an opportunity for an Internal Sales Support person to join their team. This role plays a key part in day-to-day operations, ensuring customer enquiries and orders are handled efficiently while maintaining high service standards The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external sales representatives, supporting customer relationships and ensuring smooth order processing.
Key Responsibilities
7. Processing and following up on customer enquiries and sales orders
8. Liaising with suppliers to confirm product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
9. Supporting external sales representatives to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently
10. Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
11. Assisting with counter sales and customer enquiries during busy periods
12. Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with company policies and procedures
Candidate Requirements
13. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within internal sales, sales support, or a similar environment
14. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
15. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
16. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
17. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
18. IT proficient with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
19. Knowledge of construction materials is advantageous, or a willingness to learn
20. Previous internal sales experience is desirable
Working hours can either be worked
Monday – Thursday: 7.00am – 4.15pm, Friday: 7.00am – 3.15pm
Saturday: 8.00am – 12.30pm (rota basis
or
Monday – Thursday: 7.45am – 5.00pm, Friday: 7.45am – 4.00pm
Saturday: 8.00am – 12.30pm (rota basis
