We are working with a rapidly growing international engineering and construction organisation to appoint a Financial Accountant into a high -performing finance team. This role offers excellent exposure to multi -entity reporting, international operations, and process improvement within a fast -paced, project -driven environment.
The position is well suited to a technically strong accountant who enjoys taking ownership of core accounting processes while contributing to the evolution of systems, controls, and reporting frameworks.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple jurisdictions, including variance analysis.
* Supporting month -end close activities, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
* Supporting the annual audit process under FRS 102.
* Liaising with external advisors and third -party providers to ensure local statutory compliance.
* Driving continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and reporting quality.
* Supporting systems enhancements, automation, and digitalisation initiatives.
Requirements:
o Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
o 2+ years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role.
o Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capability.
o Experience working in multi -entity or multi -jurisdiction environments advantageous.
o Strong Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP B1 or similar) beneficial.
o Highly organised, detail -oriented, and comfortable working to deadlines.
