The ideal candidate for this pivotal role will possess a strong technical background and commercial acumen.
Responsibilities include overseeing group financial reporting, supporting external audits, and contributing to strategic finance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the consolidation and delivery of monthly and annual group financial reports
* Coordinate and support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors
* Partner with senior stakeholders on finance transformation projects and acquisitions
* Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards
* Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decisions
Requirements:
* Big 4 trained Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 2+ years PQE
* Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/FRS 102)
* Knowledge of the FMCG industry is a distinct advantage
* Proven experience in group reporting and audit processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving business environment
