BMS Automation Engineer - Building Management System / GxP / HVAC / HMI
We're seeking a BMS Automation Engineers to join a very exciting consultancy company in Ireland on a long term freelance contract basis.
We're partnered with a leading system integration company operating with the industrial automation space and as an BMS Automation Engineer you will be working directly with a global pharma company's manufacturing facility in Athlone - in this role, you will be responsible for configuration, operation, maintenance and administration of the manufacturing, process and facility control and data historian systems to cover all manufacturing systems in AAMF but with a particular emphasis on supporting BMS / HVAC system onsite
Required skills:
* BS/BA or higher in Science, Engineering, Instrumentation, Information Technology or related field
* 5+ years experience within the automation industry supporting GxP environments and applications
* 5 years or more experience supporting a BMS / HVAC in a manufacturing facility.
* Direct experience and in depth knowledge of Siemens Desigo. Siemens PLCs & SCADA / HMI experience is a plus as is experience with Neuberger ProGrafNT.
* Direct experience in managing and working alongside system integrators
* Direct experience in supporting a manufacturing facility
* Experience maintaining controls networks and communications by Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus etc.
* Experience with OSI PI data historian, SQL Server and virtualization platforms is a plus, as is IT experience.
* Experience of implementing change controls and investigating deviations/events.
* Comprehensive understanding of cGMP requirements for clinical and commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing and the ability to implement best practices (GAMP) to ensure site automation systems are cGMP compliant.
