Hotel Manager
We are seeking a professional and customer service-focused Hotel Manager to lead our team.
Duties include:
1. Managing the day-to-day operations of a busy hotel.
2. Providing excellent service to all guests/visitors to the hotel.
3. Holding direct supervision over staff and having a hands-on approach.
4. Working with Heads of Departments on hotel plans and strategies.
5. Conducting weekly meetings with department heads.
6. Collaborating with marketing teams to generate ideas and drive sales and planning.
7. Driving sales initiatives within the hotel and locally in the community.
8. Achieving annual targets for the hotel.
9. Contributing to strategic planning for the hotel.
10. Developing and implementing effective delegation, training, and encouragement strategies amongst management teams.
11. Closely working with the accounts department to ensure efficient purchasing and sales procedures.
12. Actively sourcing new business and functions into the hotel.
13. Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
14. Coordinating Health & Safety policies in the hotel.
15. Working with Department Heads to set and drive team objectives through interactive meetings and training and development.
16. Managing the hotels HACCP plan with management teams.
17. Handling HR issues with the hotels HR consultants.
18. Reporting incidents and accidents to the insurance company.
19. Maintaining optimal stock levels and following necessary processes.
20. Interviewing and recruiting staff with exceptional customer service skills and conducting thorough induction procedures for new staff.
