My multinational client is seeking a German speaking Credit Controller to manage customer accounts within a specified sales region. The role focuses on credit control and collections, ensuring on-time payments, healthy receivables, and achievement of individual and team targets. This role is based outside Cork City and is hybrid.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily credit control and collection activities
2. Meet monthly collection targets and maintain clean aged receivables
3. Resolve customer queries in partnership with Customer Service
4. Reconcile accounts and manage order releases in line with policy
5. Monitor adherence to credit terms and assess customer creditworthiness
6. Build strong relationships with internal teams, SSC, and BPO partners
Requirements:
7. Minimum 18 months' experience in credit control
8. Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent
9. Fluent English and German (written and spoken)
10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
11. Financial and commercial awareness
12. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle
