REGIONAL SOLICITOR. Based in the NEU Eastern region (Newmarket, CB8 8GY). Permanent, full-time. £65,159 per annum rising to £68,155.
About You
We are seeking a qualified and experienced employment solicitor, with a minimum of two years post qualification experience and strong advocacy skills in Eastern region, based in Newmarket. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of Employment Solicitors. NEU Solicitors play a crucial role in our work in the education sector, representing and supporting NEU members, reps and staff on employment law, professional regulation matters and case strategies. Our solicitors also support legal training for members, reps and staff. The post is ideally suited to motivated candidates with a passion for social justice, who wish to extend their employment law experience within a trade union environment. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own time and caseload and possess good all-round communications skills with the ability to relate to people with different backgrounds.
