About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable and skilled Construction Assistant to support ongoing maintenance, repair, and small-scale construction projects across our dental clinics. This role involves ensuring the clinic facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained, especially as we prepare for the winter season.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repair work throughout the clinic (walls, floors, fixtures, doors, cabinetry, etc.)Assist with insulation and weatherproofing tasks for winter preparationSupport minor construction, renovation, or upgrade projects as neededInspect and identify areas that require repair or improvementPerform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks (within competency)Communicate effectively with clinic management regarding maintenance needsEnsure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and clinic standardsCoordinate with external contractors when necessaryMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environmentRequirementsPrevious experience in construction, maintenance, or a similar tradeBasic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, or general building workAbility to troubleshoot issues and provide practical repair solutionsGood attention to detail and ability to work independentlyStrong communication skillsReliable, punctual, and organisedAbility to work safely in a healthcare environmentDesirableExperience with insulation or winter-proofingKnowledge of Irish building standards (preferred but not required)Ability to work flexible hours depending on project needsJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €13.50-€15.00 per hourWork Location: In person
