Key Financial Leadership Role

The role of a Finance Operations Manager is critical in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and supporting long-term business growth. This involves managing the preparation of budgets, forecasts and KPIs, as well as providing strategic financial leadership across the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide financial analysis to support business development
2. Ensure Internal Controls are in place and functioning
3. Provide strategic financial leadership across the business, partnering with executive management to drive decision-making and performance
4. Support the finance team in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to achieve short-term and long-term goals
5. Manage financial requirements in support of business plans and financial modeling
6. Oversee continuous improvement of Accounting & Financial processes with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output
7. Continued improvement of the Financial forecasting processes
8. Work closely with IT teams to support on-going enhancements
9. Drive cost savings and cost reduction initiatives
10. Maintain optimal Inventory levels through close collaboration with Operations and Planning
11. Nurture and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Corporate partners and State agencies
12. Prepare KPIs as per calendar and drive statutory audit and liaison with audit teams
13. Perform month-end activities like book closing, accruals, sales accounting, inventory valuation and preparing monthly reports
14. Validate vendor/customer agreements and undertake specialist projects

Requirements:

* 7+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Deep expertise in financial operations processes, systems and controls.
* Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, automation and systems upgrades.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance frameworks.
* Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment preferred.
* Exceptional leadership, project management and interpersonal skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, MBA or similar advanced credential
* Working knowledge of MS Office, SAP and Hyperion tools required.
