OverviewSenior Quality Manager to join a growing technology company producing sensor technology for road stakeholders, supporting ADAS and Semi-Autonomous/Autonomous vehicles. The role focuses on developing, implementing and overseeing quality management systems, processes and improvement activities across hardware and software products from concept to support/EOL.The company designs & develops software, hardware, optics and illumination systems and is expanding across Europe and the USA. The successful candidate will provide high level support to customers as part of a close-knit team of engineers.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.Lead internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance and company policies.Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and improve processes for both software and hardware products.Oversee supplier quality management, including supplier audits and performance evaluations.Lead the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 within the business, including launching a new QMS.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on quality improvement projects and metrics across manufacturing and R&D activities.Conduct quality risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.Train and mentor staff to ensure adherence to quality standards.Prepare quality reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory/standards bodies.Monitor development and production cycles to drive continuous improvement and help solve technical issues.Experience neededBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related fieldMinimum of 7 years in a senior quality management role within hardware/software development, system manufacture & service/supportHands-on experience managing QMS and testingStrong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and other quality systemsExperience with regulatory compliance (e.g., CE marking)Excellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesFamiliarity with statistical analysisSkillsExcellent communication skills; fluency in EnglishGreat attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesTeam spirit and ability to work independentlyStrong interpersonal and team leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsDetail-oriented with high accuracy and precisionAdditional requirements: eligible to work in Ireland/EU, Full Clean Irish Driving Licence.Location: Dublin South, D6W. The role is on site with flexible hours.Salary negotiable, dependent on experience.
