Healthcare Facility Site Engineer
Role Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Dundalk. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to develop their Project Management skills and take their career to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of three years' experience in a similar engineering/site coordination role. They will also possess excellent communication and coordination skills, as well as a full driving licence.
The Role | Healthcare Facility Site Engineer You will play a key part in coordinating and supervising site works, ensuring engineering compliance, progress tracking, and effective communication across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Project Management team, and receive mentorship
* Coordinate set outs for structural steel, cladding, and partitions
* Attend internal progress meetings
* Assist with procurement and acquisition of all BOQ items
* Support Site Manager with planning and delivery of civil and structural installations
* Coordinate subcontractors and ensure all works meet company standards
* Liaise with the design team and supply chain to ensure technical compliance
* Issue technical reports, method statements, and other required documentation
* Manage site health & safety documentation and enforce safe practices
* Ensure teams are working from the latest drawings and specifications
* Conduct subcontractor inspections and maintain quality assurance records
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* A third-level qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar engineering/site coordination role
* Strong working knowledge of construction processes, design, and site supervision
* Full Driving Licence
* Proficient in MS Office, Project software, and Auto CAD
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills

Required Skills and Qualifications
