Our Client, a renowned business with a HQ in Dublin are seeking an experienced
Finance Director
to join their leadership team and drive strategic financial planning, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the senior finance lead for the enterprise services function, driving overall financial outcomes and P&L performance.
* Shape long-range financial plans aligned with organisational priorities.
* Build financial frameworks that enable growth, scale and high-quality service.
* Lead planning, forecasting and investment decisions with a focus on digital enablement.
* Maintain streamlined commercial structures, including pricing, benchmarking and chargebacks.
* Ensure the finance operating model supports strong accounting, FP&A and business partnering.
* Lead and develop the Finance team, fostering capability and performance.
* Establish KPIs to track efficiency and drive cost discipline.
* Champion initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce cost and support digital change.
* Support vendor negotiations alongside Procurement and leadership.
* Direct governance, compliance and risk management across global operations.
Work with leaders in Digital IT, IT Operations, HR, Finance and Procurement to align financial and operational goals.
* Ensure enterprise services evolve with business needs.
* Build financial models supporting digital and transformation cases.
* Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Oversee financial aspects of transformation programmes, including automation, AI and global delivery evolution.
* Collaborate with external partners to reshape the cost base and enable future investment.
* Support the shift from a cost-focused support function to a value-driven business partner.
* Enable scaling, agile working methods and digital-first service models.
* Advocate for data-led decision-making and advanced analytics.
Skills & Experience
* ACA/ACCA-qualified accountant with a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
* 15+ years' progressive finance experience, including leadership within shared services or enterprise operations.
* Strong record managing complex P&Ls and leading transformation.
* Deep understanding of global service models, financial operations and digital enablers.
* Strong commercial judgement, stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking.
* Experience with ERP/analytics platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAC).
* Strategic mindset aligned with long-term organisational goals.
* Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.
* Skilled in transformation and change leadership.
* Results-driven with focus on measurable impact.
* Committed to developing talent and building strong teams.
* Excellent communicator of financial insights.
