Responsibilities:
* Perform and interpret complex diagnostic procedures, including echocardiograms, ECGs, and stress tests.
* Assist in invasive cardiology procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker implantations.
* Analyze and report on diagnostic findings to inform patient treatment plans.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff and trainee cardiac physiologists.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols
Requirements:
* BSc in Clinical Measurement, Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiac physiologist role.
* Current professional registration.
* Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
* Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
* All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
* Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance.Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
