With a growing membership base and ambitious plans to strengthen our impact, we are expanding our sales team to help deliver on our strategic objectives.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Inside Sales Executive to join our dynamic commercial team.
You will play a critical role in generating leads, converting prospects into members, and supporting the growth of ISME's membership base and commercial services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional with 1–2 years' B2B experience to develop their career in a mission-led, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for sourcing leads, f ollow up on marketing-generated leads, and nurture them through the sales pipeline .
Conduct outbound calls to engage prospective SME members .
Deliver excellent customer experience in all interactions, across multiple communications channels.
Ensure excellent pipeline management and accurate forecasting to deliver against agreed KPIs.
Meet and exceed monthly KPIs and contribute to overall team targets .
Manage and update the CRM system with accurate and timely information .
Collaborate with marketing and admin teams to ensure seamless onboarding .
Support campaigns and promotions targeting acquisition, retention and upselling .
Attend Roadshow and networking events to promote ISME's services and benefits.
Develop and maintain strong, effective working relationships with all internal departments .
Schedule appointments for senior sales colleagues where appropriate .
Be informed about trends across the wider Irish business landscape and be authentic and knowledgeable with members and prospects .
Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a B2B sales or business development role essential .
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets .
Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail .
Excellent PC skills essential – experience with Zoho CRM is an advantage .
Ability to work well under pressure .
Agil e and able to work effectively within a team and on own initiative .
Self-starter with a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset .
Passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience .
Confident in engaging with business owners, decision-makers, and senior managers .
Interest in supporting Irish SMEs and contributing to a purpose-driven organisation .
