Senior Electrical Design Engineer Job Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise in MEP installations, design engineering, project management, and client relations.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with project directors to establish project requirements and deliverables.
* Implement electrical design solutions for commercial, healthcare, industrial, educational, and residential projects.
* Develop engineering strategies appropriate to project requirements and client briefs.
* Prepare detailed reports against agreed design briefs for each project stage.
* Manage project costs and prepare client cost reports related to electrical installations.
* Plan deliverables for junior engineers and technicians to ensure project targets are achieved.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' consultancy-based design experience on commercial MEP projects. A Level 8 degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required, with the qualification recognised for Chartership.
