This role offers excellent exposure across financial reporting, compliance, audit support and systems improvement, working closely with finance and operational teams in a collaborative environment.

Benefits: Salary: €52,546 per annum (non-negotiable) Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract Annual Leave: 29 days per year (excluding public holidays) Working Hours: ***** hours per week (35 hours net of breaks) Blended Working: Up to 3 days working from home per week L ocation: Dublin City Centre office Work Environment: Supportive, collaborative finance team with strong governance standards Responsibilities: Carry out compliance checks on grants and payments Maintain and update finance policies, procedures and systems Support audits and preparation of financial statements Assist with invoicing, reporting and queries for a regulatory programme Manage fixed asset accounting and maintain the asset register Work with finance and operational teams to improve processes Strong attention to detail, numeracy and IT skills Experience supporting audit and governance requirements Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Experience and Qualifications: NFQ Level 8 (Honours Degree or higher) in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years' relevant accounts experience, or NFQ Level 7 (Ordinary Degree) in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years' relevant accounts experience Experience using accounting packages and/or ERP systems Experience working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team Strong understanding of financial controls and good governance practices Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Public sector experience Experience using Integra (Centros) Membership of a professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) Knowledge or experience in sustainable energy Experience delivering positive customer experiences Apply online or contact me directly with your CV: SONCATB Tags: Contract RolePublic Sector / Semi-State
