The Role
As Finance Manager, you will oversee and continuously improve key financial operations and controls, including:
6. Premium collection, claims payments, and bank reconciliations
7. Managing relationships with banks and payment providers (e.g., Stripe)
8. Leading financial control processes and ensuring compliance
9. Attending external meetings with partners and stakeholders
10. Producing Management Information (MI) reports on financial operations
11. Reviewing aged debtors and managing claims payment control accounts
12. Documenting financial policies and enhancing internal control frameworks
13. Enhancing functionality within Netsuite to support scalable reporting
14. Exploring new payment solutions and leading finance process improvements
You'll play a critical role in establishing a robust financial infrastructure as the company continues to grow.
Looking For
15. Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
16. Experience: Minimum 5 years in financial operations, preferably within insurance or a similar environment
17. Technical Expertise: Strong accounting and reconciliation skills; hands-on experience with payment platforms and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite)
18. Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
19. Excellent Communicator: Comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders
20. Process-Oriented: Demonstrated experience in improving financial systems and internal controls
21. Bonus Points: Project management experience and prior exposure to premium collection or claims processing in the insurance sector
