Role overview
We are seeking an ambitious newly qualified accountant to join the BKK team at an exciting phase of our growth journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring tax & financial compliance, delivering tax and financial advisory services and training junior team members. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to professionally develop working with exciting national and international clients.
Your role
* Management accounts preparation including balance sheet account reconciliations and monthly reporting for various stakeholders including management teams, financial institutions, shareholders & boards of directors.
* Prepare and submit statutory tax returns for multiple jurisdictions, including corporation tax, income tax, and VAT, in accordance with current legislation and reporting deadlines.
* Prepare year-end financial statements for limited companies, partnerships & sole traders.
* Support clients with financial planning and analysis, including the preparation of financial models, forecasts, and the interpretation of variances against financial plans.
* Provide operational support to client finance teams in areas such as creditor management, payroll processing, and other transactional finance activities.
* Liaise with external auditors to coordinate and support the audit process.
* Contribute to corporate finance and tax advisory projects, providing technical input and analytical support to facilitate informed decision-making.
Required experience & skills
* Newly qualified accountant.
* In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
* Should possess strong IT proficiency, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage time and multiple deadlines effectively.
