Job Title: Global Citrix Technical Director
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex Citrix environments. This includes providing Level 3+ support to delivery teams on escalated issues, generating root-cause analysis related to critical incidents, and engaging with vendors for support and updates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of designated technologies covering Citrix environment and platforms.
* Review and ensure all internal documentation is kept current and shared centrally with the rest of the team.
* Ongoing evaluation of the Citrix environment and planning for future capacity and technology changes needed to the environment.
* Partner with key stakeholders to create Citrix solutions to meet business needs.
* Prepare documents defining SLAs, SOW, and other business requirements in accordance with business needs.
* Directly manage a 24x7 support team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Must have in-depth knowledge and 10+ years of experience in troubleshooting, implementing, and managing complex Citrix environments.
* Citrix Certified Professional not required but helpful.
* Five years of experience working in an ITIL managed environment.
* Must be expert in entire Citrix product offering.
* Netscaler, XenApp, XenDesktop, and legacy Citrix products experience required.
* Detailed knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and networking required.
* Implementation and migration experience with medium to large Citrix environments for enterprise customers.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and senior leadership interaction.
