Sustainability Manager
Ryanair are recruiting for a Sustainability Manager to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.
Based in Dublin and reporting directly to the Director of Sustainability & Finance, this is a key role within the Sustainability team.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and reporting our fuel usage and CO2 emissions for compliance reporting such as the EU ETS, UK ETS or CORSIA, and managing our allowances and offsets.
Implementing and communicating the flight labeling scheme to inform our passengers about the environmental impact of their flights and encourage them to choose lower-emission options.
Linking SAF to ETS and identifying the best strategies to reduce our carbon intensity and optimize fuel costs.
Conducting research and analysis on the latest trends and developments in the aviation sustainability sector and providing recommendations for improvement.
Monitor and report against ESG metrics and targets (e.g. SBTi).
Ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a sustainability-related role.
Knowledge of the regulation and policy frameworks for SAF and ETS, and their implications for the aviation sector.
Excellent analytical skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of initiative alongside strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills.
