Join a dynamic and experienced health services group in the cruise industry as an Emergency Medicine Physician.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a global scale, providing quality healthcare to guests and crew while they sail the world. As an Emergency Medicine Physician on board, you will be responsible for delivering individualized outpatient, inpatient, and ICU care. You will consult with crew and guests, provide timely assessments, formulate treatment plans, perform clinical interventions, and coordinate logistics of referrals and evacuations.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in X-ray acquisition and performing various laboratory tests and other procedures. You will work closely with shipboard nurses and paramedics and report to the Senior Doctor.
Key qualifications include:
* A Medical Degree and current registration and licensing
* At least three years of post-graduate clinical experience in emergency medicine, acute care, or ICU
* A valid accredited ALS/ACLS certificate
* PALS and ATLS certifications may be required before completing the first year of employment
* Additional requirements include a valid passport, advanced English, and additional training in advanced airway management, ICU, primary emergency care, immediate medical care, ECG, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Advanced Paediatric Life Support
