Dublin City University’s School of Health and Human Performance invites applications for a fully funded PhD position within the LifeLab initiative, commencing in September 2025. This four-year program focuses on advancing research in health literacy, behaviour change, and adolescent wellbeing, contributing to a large-scale trial aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of Irish adolescents.
Requirements
* Honours degree (2:1 or above) in Health, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field
* Experience in youth engagement and research (qualitative and/or quantitative methods)
* Strong motivation, independence, and ability to collaborate in a research team
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement the next evaluation phase of LifeLab
* Conduct fieldwork, data collection, and analysis
* Publish and present research findings with expert guidance
* Collaborate effectively within a dynamic research environment
Funding
* €25,000 per year (tax-free stipend)
* Full EU tuition fees (€5,505 per year) covered
