The Clinical Radiographer will support the operational management of a CT service, working closely with and under the direct guidance of a Radiology Services Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Utilizing their in-depth knowledge obtained from experience and postgraduate training in all aspects of CT radiology department.
* Understanding, implementation and supporting legislation related to the use of ionising radiation in CT.
* To continually develop and improve the CT service.
* Overseeing the training, development and maintaining of competence for the CT team.
* Liaising closely with RSMs, CSRs and Radiologists to develop and maintain an efficient cross-site service.
Qualified Diagnostic Radiographers with BSc qualification recognized by Irish Institute of Radiography and CORU registration are required. A minimum of 6 years clinical experience and 3 years' senior level experience in a CT department is essential.
