Job Purpose: In this role you'll work closely with the Senior Sales Manager to help develop innovative and profitable revenue streams for the Ireland and Northern Ireland markets.
This will involve developing new initiatives that serve to optimise business assets as well as extending the business into new and lucrative areas of revenue generation.
Key Accountabilities: In conjunction with the Senior Sales Manager, assist in the implementation and delivery of the sales plan that will shape and drive all on-going sales activity Assist the Senior Sales Manager in implementing best practice through adhering to service levels (SLA's) and enquiry response times whilst exceeding client expectations by the delivery of a professional and knowledgeable sales service in relation to all sales activity but specifically negotiation and closing deals to ensure delivery of business to business sales growth from private clients, SME's and Blue Chip companies Sell and develop the existing conferencing and event business with a view to expanding these areas across all cinemas where feasible to do so.
Respond to inbound event enquiries, promoting and aligning relevant packages or options to prospective clients to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets Attend face to face sales viewings within the cinemas with prospect clients to discuss the ODEON Events product benefits to secure new business Develop and maintain strong professional client relationships through good Account Management ensuring repeat business and gaining new business from existing and new inbound clients through regular contact Identify lost clients for follow up through the sales CRM system Ability to identify key corporate client contacts and follow up through proactive visits Make accurate cost calculations and provide clients with written quotations Up sell catering, equipment and retail requirements to maximise the value of individual deals at all times Negotiate discounts on price, delivery and event specifications along with the Senior Sale Manager; agreement terms, finalising total client costs and closing sales Key Skills: Prior experience within an event account management role with full working knowledge gained in a sales role is essential Experience in cinema or venue management / event management is desirable The passion and drive to go above and beyond for clients at all times Ability to manage and grow key relationships with Film Distribution partners and other key stakeholders Tenacity and resilience to succeed in a highly competitive market.
A proven track record of successful sales and lead-conversion is required.
Experience of out-bound sales would be desirable.
Creates a positive impression on others and is able to influence, be persuasive, and crucially able to "close" a sale effectively Outstanding interpersonal, communication, listening and influencing skills and a high level of credibility are a must for this role Proven account management skills are essential Able to demonstrate a high level of planning and organisation.
