Our headquarters in Limerick employs over 70 support staff across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Logistics.
Position: Mobile Shop Assistant
We are now recruiting a Mobile Shop Assistant to work across our Kilkenny and Carlow stores, and occasionally other stores within a certain geographical radius. The ideal candidate will reside near Kilkenny or Carlow and be able to travel to other stores at short notice. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Your Mission
As a shop assistant, you will provide knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable service to our customers. Your passion for driving sales, promoting our products and services, and delivering professional customer service will be key. You will join a team that takes pride in their store, collaborates well, and enjoys their work!
Responsibilities
* Build effective relationships with customers through value-added selling.
* Identify sales opportunities and advise on our extensive product range.
* Achieve monthly sales and margin targets.
* Maintain a clean, well-merchandised shop environment.
* Manage stock levels appropriately.
* Make telesales calls to new and existing customers.
* Ensure a tidy and safe working environment.
* Remain security conscious at all times.
Skills & Requirements
* Experience in sales with a strong success drive.
* Must have a reliable car and a full driving license.
* Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
* Willingness to work hard and learn.
* Great communication skills and a helpful nature.
* Friendly, reliable, honest, and enthusiastic.
* Flexibility and mobility to work across stores within a short notice radius, close to your home.
* Background in construction, tools, automotive, or retail is advantageous but not essential.
