Job Title: Construction Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The role of Construction Operations Manager is to oversee the efficient coordination and management of a fleet of vehicles working on utility projects in the Dublin area. This involves planning, assigning daily tasks, and monitoring real-time activity to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a central booking system for site teams to reserve vehicle services based on project needs.
* Prioritize bookings by urgency, geographic proximity, material type, and programme deadlines.
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations through live tracking systems (GPS, telematics, or driver updates).
* Liaise with site supervisors, utility crews, and crew leaders to confirm logistical requirements.
Requirements:
* Degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics, transportation management, or construction operations.
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.
* Familiarity with relevant software, including GPS tracking systems.
