As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an
Architectural Technologist
with a strong technical skillset and a genuine interest in Passive House design and sustainable development to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in projects from early design and planning stages through to detailed construction documentation and on-site delivery. You will work closely with architects, engineers, energy consultants, and construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of environmentally responsible housing developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and develop design, planning, and construction-stage drawings
* Produce detailed technical and construction detailing packages
* Support planning applications and compliance with local authority requirements
* Coordinate design information with multidisciplinary consultants
* Contribute to the delivery of Passive House and low-energy housing schemes
* Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, TGDs, and BCAR
* Assist with construction queries, technical reviews, and site coordination
* Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing control
Requirements
* Degree or higher diploma in Architectural Technology or related discipline
* Minimum 3 years' experience in architectural or multidisciplinary practice
* Good understanding of Irish planning and building control processes
* Proficiency in (Revit /ArchiCad /BIM experience an advantage)
* Experience producing high-quality construction details
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Full clean driving licence
