Senior Site Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering technical excellence to our clients using modern construction methods and innovative building techniques.
Responsibilities:
* Setting out using total station & GPS equipment ensuring accuracy and precision.
* Establishing and maintaining procedures with the design team, client, and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings, and reporting to ensure seamless project execution.
* Recording all daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in the site management system, Procore (training will be provided).
* Conducting work in a safe manner, correcting, and reporting those who do not adhere to safety protocols.
* Complying with ISO company procedures to maintain quality and consistency.
* Reporting to the management team on the programme schedule and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and building standards.
* Undertaking surveys and ensuring engineering details are being followed on site to guarantee high-quality results.
* Supervising subcontractors and checking the quality of works to ensure they meet industry standards.
* Document reviews, scheduling, and attending site meetings to ensure overall compliance with the building schedule.
* Reporting to the Project Manager and senior management team on all aspects of engineering relating to the project.
* Managing and providing training to Junior staff and Engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Ensuring compliance with agreed construction methods, particularly those relating to Quality Assurance and Health & Safety.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
* An Engineering Degree required.
* Knowledge of construction techniques and competence in all aspects of setting out, surveying, and temporary works.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Strong IT skills with good knowledge of MS Office and CAD software.
* A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction sites.
* Strong Management Skills to lead and motivate teams.
* A Full Irish Driving licence is mandatory.
