Job Description:
The role involves implementing a proactive, reliability-focused maintenance strategy, including condition monitoring, PPM, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement projects. This includes leading and developing a structured maintenance program, ensuring alignment with best practices and operational targets, as well as coordinating and supervising electrical and instrumentation (E&I) maintenance activities, including PPM schedules.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a time-served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent Level 6/7 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation, along with 5+ years' experience in a similar role within FMCG, food & beverage, or a high-volume manufacturing environment. Proven experience implementing and managing maintenance programs and condition-based monitoring is essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley), drives, controls, and calibration of industrial instrumentation, as well as working knowledge of OEE systems and performance improvement tools, is required. Strong leadership and people development skills are also necessary. Proficiency with CMMS platforms (SAP, Maximo, etc.) is desirable, as is background in Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies. Certification in electrical safety/testing (e.g., IS 10101 compliance) is also advantageous.
