Hiring: Global LIMS (GLIMS) Specialist | Ballydine, Co. Tipperary | Remote Contract Opportunity
Contract Duration: Initial contract until December 2026, with a strong possibility of extension based on business requirements and performance.
Working Model: Primarily remote role; however, occasional on-site attendance in Ballydine may be required for project activities, business needs, workshops, testing, training, or critical support activities.
We are currently seeking an experienced Global LIMS (GLIMS) Specialist to support laboratory information management systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for LIMS‑related support across laboratories and manufacturing operations.
Manage LIMS change requests and configuration activities through the full change control lifecycle.
Perform static data configuration and maintenance within the Global LIMS platform.
Conduct impact assessments, requirements gathering, technical evaluations, and system troubleshooting.
Support validation activities, SDLC, UAT, data integrity, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, IT, Laboratory, and Global Support teams.
Review and approve technical documentation, protocols, reports, and change records.
Support inspections, audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of hands‑on LabWare LIMS experience within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
Strong experience with:
LabWare LIMS v6+
Static Data Configuration
Change Control
SDLC & Computer System Validation (CSV)
UAT & Validation Documentation
GMP / GxP Compliance
Data Integrity
SQL Query Development
Preferred Experience
SAP integration exposure
Reporting and analytics tools
Sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
Audit and inspection support
LIMS Basic or scripting experience
